Morton's The Steakhouse - Burbank: An Exceptional Dining Experience Awaits

S-tier service and tender cuts of steak. The waitress we had was delightful. Meets quality steakhouse expectations. Complimentary onion bread with soft butter to start, a classic. Baked potato, certified. Satisfactory char, and a marinaded/glazed sweetness on the Prime Bone-in Ribeye. I prefer a meatier profile to my steaks, but the clean plate can't complain. Very good overall.

I had called in advance and told them it was a special celebration dinner for 2. The manager was very helpful over the phone and said they would make the night special. Once we arrived the manager welcomed us in and immediately escorted us to our table. The mood setting and location where we were sat down was so romantic. When we got to our table, the restaurant had gone above and beyond and made a special menu for the birthday celebration. The menu had my wife's name and her birthday on top of menu. I thought what a way to make someone feel really special than having a menu just for them. I had the USDA prime rib eye which was out of the world. Perfectly cooked, medium rarer to perfection. My wife had the center cut which was amazing as well. For sides we ordered lobster Mac and cheese and asparagus. Before food was brought out, we were given a onion loaf of bread that was light and fluffy. Furthermore, if you happen to arrive earlier or with no reservations. The restaurant has a adorable garden area to take nice photos. We had a great experience celebrating a special occasion. Will give them thumbs up.

Absolutely Amazing! Andrew made our evening a night to remember! He was so patience with our party of 12, attentive to our needs. He never rushed us , and made us feel so relaxed , which made our dinning experience more memorable. The food was incredible from their delicious appetizers , to their tender, mouthwatering steaks , we just had to top off the evening with their decadent desserts. Thank you Morton's of Burbank and "Thank You Andrew for such a spectacular evening !" We can't wait to go back!

While the food and service were great, there was just something missing to make it feel truly memorable. Ambiance: 4/5 The setting is classic upscale steakhouse—dim lighting, plush seating, and polished décor. Our table gave us a fantastic view, which added to the experience. Still, the overall vibe felt a little too polished and impersonal. It lacked a bit of warmth or charm, which stood out considering the premium price point. Authenticity: 4/5 Morton’s does everything by the book, and you can tell it’s a refined, well-oiled machine. But that polish might be what takes away a sense of soul—it felt more like a corporate standard than a personalized or unique dining journey. Flavor: 5/5 The food? Absolutely no complaints. The steak was cooked perfectly to order—tender, flavorful, and juicy. The oysters were fresh and clean, and our wine paired beautifully with the meal. Morton’s knows how to execute fine dining staples with precision. Cost: 4/5 This is a premium dining experience, and it’s priced accordingly. While we felt the quality of the food and service aligned with what we paid, that emotional “wow” factor wasn’t quite there—so the value, while good, didn’t feel outstanding. Service: 5/5 Exceptional service throughout. Our server was professional, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. From the reservation call to our final plate, everything was smooth and thoughtful. Final Verdict: 4/5 Morton’s delivers a reliably upscale experience with high-quality food and top-tier service. It’s a great spot for a date night or special occasion, especially if you want something classic and refined. That said, if you’re seeking something with a little more personality or soul, you may find it a bit too buttoned-up. Still, we enjoyed our evening and would consider coming back.

The prices on the menu are higher than of restaurants in the area. This is an upscale restaurant. The dishes served were very good. The restaurant is good for a couple to large groups.

Morton's Steakhouse did not disappoint me on my first visit. As a single diner, I sat at the warm and comfortable bar with Cindy as my bartender. I could not have been more pleased with the food and service. I had the steak and lobster and it was cooked perfectly. Do not hesitate to order the surf and turf or the grand chill platter.
